ABOUT

Aubrey Johansen is the personal chef & professional food lover behind @thatswhatsheeats. She and her wife moved home to Cleveland, Ohio with their two dogs- Pearl & Queso, and cat- Chip. After living in Cleveland the decade prior and a brief stint in Tampa Bay, Aubrey is glad to be home in Ohio, and sharing food that makes any house a home. 

Growing up, Aubrey could often be found cooking alongside her mom. When it came time to get a summer job throughout high school and college, her joy for cooking led her to work in a restaurant kitchen, where she fell in love with the fast paced and creative atmosphere. After graduating with a Bachelors in Opera in 2013, Aubrey returned to the kitchen once more, and spent several years working the line in a fine dining restaurant. With several years under her belt working in restaurants, she started her personal chef business, and the rest is history. Aubrey now spends her days in the kitchens of her clients, and her evenings in her own, recipe testing, and doing what she loves most, cooking!

Aubrey is here to share her approachable recipes and creative methods for repurposing leftovers.
