ABOUT

MacKenzie Smith isn’t just a food blogger—she’s a tastemaker in the comfort food space, a two-time Food Network champion, and the mastermind behind some of the most viral recipes on the internet.

With a background as a professional chef, turned digital creator, MacKenzie has built a devoted following that trusts her for crave-worthy, indulgent, fun, and effortlessly approachable recipes.

As for her career, MacKenzie started her food blog in 2010 while in grad school at Columbia University in New York City. Shortly after graduating, she landed an internship on Saveur magazine’s digital team, and from there, her rise in the food world was unstoppable.. Since then, she’s developed recipes for many large  brands such as Sara Lee and the National Beef Board. And she’s currently a professional food stylist for large restaurant chains like First Watch, Sonny’s BBQ and Margaritaville.

Since then, MacKenzie has created an entire empire of deliciousness that she is known for all over the world. She’s done everything from grilled cheese pop-ups in Germany and Spain to bringing nearly 100 of her instagram followers on food-focused cultural guided tours in Italy and Indonesia.

She angles herself as your best friend in the kitchen, creating a safe space for people to learn how to cook or advance your skills without judgement. With her work, people can expect to have fun, get creative, and make something outrageously good that’s also beautiful.

Her signature style is bold, approachable, nostalgic (yet hip!) and of course wildly delicious. She makes cooking feel fun, easy, and doable for both kitchen novices and seasoned pros.

Millions have been drawn to her colorful and laidback recipes so much so that she has long term partnerships with brands like King’s Hawaiian, Roth Cheese, and Athenos Feta.

And with her social media following of nearly a million followers and a website that gets a million views a month, it’s safe to say that her followers eat it up  – literally!

Smith also loves the spotlight. Her infectious energy has made her a go-to guest on shows like Guy’s Grocery Games (which she won twice!), The Tamron Hall Show and the Rachael Ray Show.. Her work has been featured everywhere from Vogue to Good Morning America, proving that her recipes don’t just go viral—they become part of the food culture.

MacKenzie knows exactly how to create food that not only looks good but that people also want to cook, share, and devour and for that, people love her.
