ABOUT

Megan is a comedy writer living in Brooklyn, New York. She grew up near Detroit, Michigan and attended Michigan State University. She later studied writing, performance and musical comedy at The Second City Theater in Chicago and graduated from the Comedy Studies program. Her performance credits include the Second City showcase Reptile Dysfunction, The She Makes Me Laugh Festival and NYC Sketchfest 2019. She co- wrote and starred in the two-woman sketch show Table for Two which had a successful run at the People’s Improv Theater in the Summer of 2019.

Megan has been involved in the television industry since 2015 and has held many behind-the-scenes roles in production. She has received three Emmy certificates honoring her contributions to the script department at Saturday Night Live and was also a member of the daytime Emmy nominated DailyMailTV directing team. Her writing has been published on satirical humor sites including The Belladonna Comedy, Little Old Lady Comedy, Slackjaw, and HelloGiggles. If she’s not obsessing over the latest pop culture trend or panic texting her therapist, you can find her browsing pet adoption websites, pretending to enjoy a fitness class, or hyper fixating on an overly detailed craft project. But most likely she’s just napping while a true crime series plays in the background.
