Molly Mogren
ABOUT
When Molly Mogren Katt is not googling “epigenetics” or “borderline personality disorder” for her book, Mom Genes, she’s helping businesses with social media and marketing, as well as a freelance writer with bylines in Delta Sky, Minneapolis-St. Paul Magazine, Food & Wine and Experience Life.
She’s written three books with James Beard Award-winning chef and travel personality Andrew Zimmern. The duo co-hosted the award-winning podcast, Go Fork Yourself. Mogren Katt hosted Matriarch Digital Media’s A Mess in the Kitchen podcast.
Minneapolis-St. Paul Magazine featured Katt and her unpublished memoir in their April 2022 issue. She’s also been a guest on Best to the Nest, a podcast about being your best-self at home, hosted by Twin Cities Live host, Elizabeth Ries, and Emmy-award winning producer Margery Punnet.
In addition to writing, keeping her kids alive and cooking, she is the co-founder of Namakan Goods, a winter accessories company, and helps small businesses with their social media presence. She and her husband, Josh, are restoring a 1903 Victorian house in Minneapolis (recently featured in the Star Tribune). They share this money pit with their two kids, two dogs, and ghosts named Harry and Harriet.
